Hello friends old and new. It’s been almost 10 months since my last post. That break has been both organic and necessary, although I’ve had pangs of guilt about abandoning my readers. With the level of global intensity blasted from all sides, the most I could manage was to comment on other’s Substacks, and even that was sporadic. There was a pervading sense of trauma that prevented me from writing a clear and compelling piece. In the inimitable words of CJ Hopkins, like many of us I was ‘brain buggered’.
Nevertheless, I’ve still had a number of new subscribers. Welcome and thank you!
So I’m coming out of my cave today to share a piece from the brilliant and concise mind of Kenneth LaFave. His series, War of the Words: Language, Lies and the Left, is the clearest outlay and understanding of where we find ourselves, collectively, that I’ve read, anywhere. I highly recommend his Substack, which is serialized chapters of his upcoming book of the same name.
I commented on Chapter Seven: The Non-Existence of Communism and Anarchism. In reply, he wrote an entire post, Interlude: Enabled Ignorance, which I share here.
I shall be sharing more about Enabled Ignorance, or E.I. as I like to call it, in my following posts.
In the meantime, please read and share Word of the Words.
Stay true.
